Ensuring warmth in dropping temperatures, the Summit Nuptse down jacket contains 800 Fill Power (FP) ProDown. The down offers heat at a lighter weight and is highly water repellent, absorbing less water and drying quicker than traditional down. The North Face has used its Cloud Down technology within this jacket to reduce cold spots and enhance thermal performance through the discontinuous baffle construction. This construction is made by welding the outer and inner materials together, meaning no breaks in the fabric, which prevents cold spots.
