The Hedgehogs are The North Face's classic, tried and tested hiking shoes built for versatility and comfort with a lower profile and weight than boots. Nubuck Leather Upper Supplying you with a durable layer of protection, the upper of the Hedgehog Futurelight has been created with nubuck leather. This material combined with a PU coating provides long-lasting reliable shoes, that protect your feet from knocks and scrapes. Providing exceptional weather protection the shoes have been fitted with a Futurelight waterproof membrane. The membrane allows air to permeate and vapour to exit the shoes whilst keeping water molecules out. This improves temperature regulation and reduces overheating in changing weather, whilst keeping your feet dry. Abrasion-resistant mesh has also been used to keep the shoes looking in top condition whilst allowing fresh air to flow through the shoes and built-up heat escape, keeping feet cool and comfortable. Completing the upper of the shoes is a traditional lacing system that locks down the midfoot and reduces in-shoe movement.
